10 Ways to Lose Belly Fat

We all know the insulation that surrounds our belly also known as the ‘tyre”. It is not the most flattering,and no matter how many sit-ups or crunches done, it never goes away. We have also come to realise that no amount of time spent in the gym can fight this stubborn layer of fat alone.

Getting rid of your belly bulge is important for more than just vanity’s sake. Excess abdominal fat—particularly visceral fat, the kind that surrounds your organs and puffs your stomach into a “beer gut”—is a predictor of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, and some cancers.

So, what steps should we take to lose the belly fat?

  3. Stop eating white carbs, stick to whole grains.

  4. Drink water, it is recommended that one should drink at least 2 to 3 litres of water a day.

  8. Begin your morning with a cup of warm water and a slice of fresh lemon.
