Caramel Protein Balls

The most difficult part of dieting or just trying to walk the healthier road, is that there is never enough products on the market to indulge the sweet tooth. So I have decided to create a few recipes to help you along your path of enlightenment.

This recipe is quite simple and perfect for keeping the sweet cravings at bay.


  • 4 scoops of caramel whey protein (you can choose any flavour you like)
  • 2 tablespoons of granola (I used the one that has cranberries and coconuts)
  • 1 tablespoon macadamia butter
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • fat free milk to bind

Place the whey protein, granola, macadamia butter and coconut oil into a mixing bowl. Mix together, add enough milk to ensure the mixture binds.

Roll the caramel protein ball mixture into balls at the desired size, sprinkle with desiccated coconut.

Refrigerate for 1 hour.

And now you have a healthy alternative for that mid afternoon craving.
